Energy for Alaska’s Future
Hollis French is tough enough to negotiate a fair natural gas pipeline that serves Alaskans, not corporations. For Alaska’s gas pipeline, he’ll only accept a proposal that delivers gas for Alaskans, is built by Alaskans, and is negotiated with fair fiscal terms for Alaskans. We Alaskans own this resource in common, and all Alaskans should benefit when our gas is delivered to market.
Alaska needs a renewable energy future.
Hollis will invest today’s oil revenue in proven, low cost, and reliable energy solutions for tomorrow. On the Senate Resources committee, Hollis fought for proven, cost-effective renewable energy development around Alaska, including hydro
and wind projects, and a tax credit for geothermal energy.
Hollis will strengthen programs that lower energy costs today, including the Home Energy rebate grants. These grants help thousands of homeowners lower their heating costs and put hundreds of local businesses to work here in Anchorage.
